Social Media

This is the official Facebook page for The Railway Man. It is extremely sparse and, given the lack of a Twitter account, it therefore follows that social media doesn't really play much of a role in the film's marketing campaign.




Here are some production stills from the film's shoot in Thailand. It suggests that the film will be of an epic scale given the exotic locale, and therefore convince people to go and see the film.


 
 
 
The update from this Twitter account having come only two days ago, it seems as though The Railway Man  is being used for Scotland's tourism marketing campaign, and therefore suggests that more people might be exposed to the film since it is being promoted by a country, which is reinforced by the fact that Scotland was extensively used as a filming location (much of the film is set in Scotland).
