These are the five character posters for The Railway Man. This is an effective means of promoting the main characters of the film, and therefore invites people to think about who these people are, and what their significance is, as far as the story goes. Furthermore, these character posters are utilising star appeal, in particular with Colin Firth and Nicole Kidman.
